Happy Halloween
1. in doing so，意思是“这样做时”。
视频里， And in doing so, remember that he is trying to do the same. 用这个短语时，前面一般要交代一下所做的事。
例子：企业家在乡间盖了一所希望小学，并且修了进村的道路，in doing so, he did a great service to the people.
例子：在击剑中，做弓步时要把小腿踢出去，in doing so, you can hit much further. 这么做，你能击打的更远。
2. subordinate to，意思是“使什么从属于什么”。
视频里，You should subordinate your body to the speed of your thinking.你应该让你的身体跟上你的想法。
例子：Pleasure should subordinate to duty. 与工作相比，娱乐应是第二位的。
3. up to you，意思是“取决于你”。
视频里，It’s up to you to make the decision. 做决定取决于你。
例子：Should I stay here or go home? It’s up to you. 我该呆在这里还是回家？你看吧。
