今年，由世界科技（World Scientific Publishing）和新加坡物理研究所(Institute of Physics Singapore) 荣誉推出的第一本物理教育期刊《物理教育家》（The Physics Educator）正式出版。日前，第三期（Volume 01, Issue 03 ）已经正式出版。

《物理教育家》是一份国际同行评审期刊，主要聚焦中学、高中、大专和本科阶段，以物理及相关主题教育教学为研究范围。期刊也登载与物理历史发展研究以及物理课程设计相关文章。
创刊目的 Aims
期刊创办的主要目的，是为物理教学提升创造平台和空间，在广大物理教育工作者之间，在教室、讲堂和实验室之外，搭建一个新的聚合平台，促进教育专家和人士，对物理教学新方法、见解、演示方式的深入思考。在期刊这个活跃的论坛上，供稿人也可以畅所欲言，讨论课程发展、课堂管理策略、教育学、教学设备等与物理教学相关的主题。
值得一提的，与物理教育有关的图书书评，也将收录在期刊中，供广大读者参阅。
