Randolph and the lion
Randolph Sebastian Alexander Mouse w.as a little mouse with a big name. Randolph knew that he was smart, and brave, and could do just about anything. But no one else knew this.
Randolph wanted to help his family. But they always said, "Randolph Sebastian Alexander Mouse, You're too little. You're too small. You won't be any help at all."
One day Randolph was walking in the forest. He didn't watch where he was going. He ran right into Lion!
"You may be little. Lion grabbed Randolph by the tail and roared, You may be small. But I will eat you-tail and all!"
"My name is Randolph Sebastian Alexander Mouse!" cried Randolph. "I am smart, I am brave, and I can do just about anything. if you let me go, one day I will help you."
Lion thought this was extremely funny. He laughed so hard that he let go of Randolph's tail.
Randolph darted safely away into the bushes.
A few weeks later, Randolph was playing in his yard. He heard a loud cry for help.
Randolph dashed into the forest. Lion was caught in a trap made of rope.
Randolph looked at Lion and said," I may be little. I may be small. But I 'm the bravest mouse of all!" Then Randolph chewed through the rope and set Lion free.
"I was wrong about you," said Lion. "You are little and you are small, and you are the bravest mouse of all!"
