例句：

尽管把我们的全部法律头尾相接地排成一排，仍不见得有尽头。
If all the politicians in the world were placed end to end, they’d be still lying in all directions.
尽管把全世界所有的政客一个一个排成纵队，他们依然会向四面八方躺着的吧。
注：lying既有躺着，也有撒谎的意思。
